South Colonie residents will vote on a proposed $147.6 million budget for the 2026–27 school year on May 19. The plan includes a 3.49% tax levy increase—remaining below the state cap—and a 1% phase-in to support the voter-approved Next Generation Capital Project.

South Colonie families can now stay connected and see your child's progress to and from school with the MyRide K-12 app. All you need to do is download the app, get your child’s student ID from ASPEN under “Local Identifier,” and then use that ID to link them in the app.
