More than two dozen student athletes were celebrated during the Spring Signing Day Ceremony at Colonie Central High School.

The students were recognized as they signed their National Letters of Intent or college commitment letters, marking the next step in their athletic and academic careers. Families, coaches, teammates, and members of the school community gathered to celebrate the students’ accomplishments and dedication.

"This is an incredible achievement for these students and athletes," said South Colonie Athletic Director William Roemer. "We're proud to celebrate their hard work and dedication as they take the next step in their academic and athletic journeys."

The ceremony was made even more special when the seniors passed on advice to the next generation of athletes.

“Never accept being average, always strive to be better and better each day,” said Kaylee Connell.
