The South Colonie Board of Education has adopted a proposed $139.55 million budget for the 2025–26 school year—an 8.36% increase over the current year. The plan maintains all current programs, expands student support services, and reflects investments aligned with the voter-approved Next Generation Capital Project.

Brian Casey Seeks Re-Election to South Colonie Board of Education

Brian Casey, a proud 1967 graduate of Colonie Central High School and a longtime community advocate, is seeking re-election to the South Colonie Board of Education. He has served on the board since 2005 and is running unopposed for a five-year term through June 30, 2030.
