Anti-Bullying & Suicide Prevention Program Returns to Lisha Kill Middle School

Lisha Kill Middle School students received hands-on instruction in empathy, compassion, and teamwork from Sweethearts and Heroes, a group dedicated to empowering young people. The presenters delivered an inspiring assembly focused on their vital mission — preventing bullying and suicide among students.
During the assembly, students practiced the tools to help build a culture of kindness, understanding, and positive communication within their school community. The presentation motivated students to take active ownership in promoting empathy and respect. Through discussions and interactive activities, students engaged with the program, making the day a memorable and inspiring experience for the entire school.
“We are so thankful to welcome the Sweetheart & Heroes duo back to Lisha Kill,” said Jill Penn, Principal of Lisha Kill Middle School. Their message about empathy, kindness, and hope is so important for our students, and it reinforces the culture of respect we strive to build here at school every day.”
