20th Annual Stuff the Bus with Toys for Tots Powered by DeNooyer Chevrolet & Upstate Chevy Dealers

DeNooyer Chevrolet & Upstate Chevy Dealers are this year’s presenting sponsor of South Colonie Central School District’s 20th Annual Stuff the Bus with Toys for Tots campaign.
DeNooyer will present a monetary donation on Monday, November 30 at our kickoff assembly at Saddlewood Elementary School, along with Marine Staff Sgt. Ted Kleniewski, Wolfie and special guests.
In addition to DeNooyer, the district has exceeded its goal of securing 20 community partners to celebrate 20 years of giving. “Reaching this 20-year milestone is a testament to the incredible generosity of our South Colonie community,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Perry. “We are deeply grateful to DeNooyer Chevrolet & the Upstate Chevy Dealers, and all of our local partners whose support ensures area children experience firsthand the power of kindness and giving back during the holiday season.”
Capital Region Toys for Tots officially kicked off their 2026 season and highlighted the 20-year partnership with South Colonie on Friday, November 6, at its warehouse in Mechanicville. Along with other contributing groups from around the area, District Clerk Amber Lanigan highlighted our district’s growth with this initiative, from its beginnings in 2006 as an effort led by the South Colonie Transportation Department to what has become an inspiring district and community-wide tradition.
“We may never know the names of all the children we help, and we may never see their smiles, but we'll know we played a small part in making their holidays a little brighter,” she said.
