Student Spotlight: Emma Martin Makes a Difference with New Trunk or Treat Event

South Colonie high school student Emma Martin is being credited with having a great idea and inspiring the community to make it happen.
This past Halloween, Racers for Autism hosted their first ever Trunk or Treat event all because Martin suggested it. Martin works part-time for Racers for Autism, which helps individuals with Autism, their families and support centers by organizing fundraising events tied to the racing community.

The Trunk or Treat at Rosewood Plaza in Colonie was made possible thanks to many community partners, including Rosetti Properties, Upstate Chevy Dealers and their Autism Acceptance Silverado, Bring On The Spectrum, local fire departments, and many more.
Congratulations to Emma for starting something that had such a positive impact in our community!
