Congratulations, Class of 2026!

Members of the Class of 2026 have officially closed the book on their time at Colonie Central High School.
On June 25, 2026 at MVP Arena in Albany, Colonie students officially graduated, marking the end of years of dedication, growth, and perseverance both inside and outside the classroom.
The Class of 2026 was the first group of freshmen to go through Colonie Central High School’s SMART (Students Making a Responsible Tomorrow) orientation. The program helped students transition into high school, while also building relationships and a sense of community belonging. Senior class Principal Stephanie Luce reminded students of the valuable lessons they can carry with them from that experience.

“Some of your most meaningful contributions will never appear on a transcript or résumé,” said Luce. They are the moments no one kept track of. They will happen quietly behind the scenes, helping a struggling friend, welcoming someone who felt alone, or the teammate who puts the success of the group above individual recognition. Those moments matter.”

Students were encouraged at graduation to celebrate not only their academic achievements but also the character, compassion, and resilience they have demonstrated throughout their time at South Colonie Central School District.
“Whatever path you choose, I hope you continue to lead with kindness, embrace new opportunities and remain committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Perry.
We wish our graduates every success and happiness as they pursue their dreams and make their mark on the world!
