South Colonie Central School District honored 31 retiring staff members during a reception held on Tuesday, May 26 recognizing a combined 817 years of service and dedication to the district. The group included 10 support staff members as well as 21 teachers and teaching assistants.
Administrators and colleagues gathered at Colonie Central High School Library to celebrate and recognize the lasting impact of the retirees. Whether in the classroom, offices, or behind the scenes each retiree was honored for the role they played in helping the district operate each day.
“Their commitment, compassion, and years of service have helped shape our South Colonie school community,” said Christopher Robilotti, assistant superintendent of human resources and safe schools. “We are incredibly grateful for everything they have contributed to our district.”
