Future Lisha Kill Students Visit for Fifth Grade Transition Day

This week, fourth grade students from Veeder and Saddlewood got an exciting preview of life as a fifth grader at Lisha Kill Middle School!
During their visit, students met many of the teachers and staff members they will see next year, connected with current fifth graders, toured the building, and participated in a variety of fun activities designed to help ease the transition.
“We loved having our future fifth graders visit Lisha Kill and experience all that our school community has to offer,” said Jill Penn. “The transition to middle school is an exciting milestone, and we are looking forward to welcoming these students next year and helping them grow both academically and personally.”
Students also headed home with a special swag bag, generously provided by the Lisha Kill PTA, filled with helpful information and goodies to prepare them for their move to middle school.
