Colonie Central High School Senior Chase Brown has been recognized as the 2025–2026 Outstanding Business Education Student, an honor presented to students who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, citizenship, and character.

Brown earned the recognition for his strong academic performance, positive attitude, and contributions both inside and outside of the classroom. Alongside his teachers, Ms. Stone and Ms. Meigel, he attended an awards dinner celebrating students from schools throughout the Capital Region.

The event was sponsored by the Business and Marketing Educators' Association of the Capital District.

“Chase consistently demonstrates the qualities we hope to see in our students,” said CCHS Business Teacher Ms. Stone. “He is hardworking, respectful, motivated, and always willing to support those around him. This recognition is very well deserved, and on behalf of the business education department we congratulate him and can't wait to see all he accomplishes in the future.”

Following graduation from Colonie Central High School, Brown will attend Siena College in the fall.
