South Colonie to Host Free Community Mental Health and Wellness Fair on April 30

The South Colonie Central School District is inviting students, families, and community members to take part in a free and informative Mental Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Colonie Central High School’s MUG Gymnasium.
During the school day, high school students will participate in interactive exhibits, while the evening session will welcome the broader community to explore the same hands-on experiences and services. The Mental Health and Wellness Fair will be open to the community between 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Designed to promote overall well-being and connect individuals with valuable local resources, the fair will feature more than 40 organizations, healthcare providers, and emergency service agencies. Highlights of the event include:
- Student-athlete demonstrations, and family-friendly physical activities
- Information on walk-in mental health services for both adults and youth
- Safety demonstrations and drug prevention resources from local law enforcement agencies
- Wellness and nutrition guidance from healthcare professionals and nonprofit organizations
- Resources focused on building healthy relationships and long-term well-being
“Our goal is to break down the barriers that often prevent people from seeking help,” said Jennifer Judge, PsyD, District Mental Health and Wellness Coordinator. “By bringing these organizations under one roof, we are making wellness accessible, visible, and most importantly a shared community priority. We want every student and resident to know that they aren’t navigating their health journey alone.”
Wellness is one of South Colonie’s Four Pillars and this event reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of its students and community. All residents are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn, connect, and prioritize their health. Admission is free.
