Stocked and Ready: Market 32 Donates to South Colonie's Backpack Program

The South Colonie Backpack Program received a generous boost this week thanks to a donation from Market 32 on Central Ave. The contribution, made up of essential food items and hygiene products, will help ensure that students and families facing food insecurity have access to nourishing meals and everyday necessities.
“We are incredibly grateful for Market 32’s continued partnership and commitment to supporting our students and families,” said William Boardman, supervisor of special programs. “Their generosity not only provides essential food and hygiene items, but it also sends a powerful message to our students that our community cares about their well-being. Programs like the Backpack Program rely on contributions like this to ensure that every child has access to nutritious meals during weekends and school breaks, helping them stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn. This support truly makes a lasting difference in the lives of our families.”

- 3 cases of canned potatoes
