Community members are invited to attend a Capital Project Community Open House on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at Colonie Central High School.

The event will highlight improvements completed as part of the Next Generation Colonie Capital Project, approved by voters in fall 2022. While additional work continues across the district, this will be the first official opportunity for the public to tour newly renovated spaces at the high school.

Areas open for tours include:

• Upgraded classrooms and library learning spaces
• Athletic training facility
• Boys’ team rooms
• MUG and fitness center
• Turf field complex and concession area
• PIT locker room and girls’ team room

“We are proud to welcome residents into these new and improved spaces,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Perry said. “This is a chance for our community to see firsthand how their investment is enhancing opportunities for students in the classroom, on the field, and throughout our school facilities.”
