Veeder Courtyard Springs to Life

This week, Veeder Elementary invited parents, students, and staff to join them after school and give back to their community in a unique way. On Wednesday, April 30, participants gathered at the elementary school after hours with their gardening gloves and tools in tow. Once everyone had settled the fun began! Students and staff worked diligently to pick up debris, tidy up flower beds, and remove sticks and branches from the area.
“It was truly heartwarming to see our Veeder community come together in support of keeping our courtyard beautiful,” said Nora Sullivan, Principal of Veeder Elementary School. “A special thank you goes to James Vardaro, our incoming principal, for being part of the day and meeting families. His hands-on approach and genuine enthusiasm for connecting with students and families highlight his commitment to South Colonie. I look forward to watching him thrive and grow in this role in the years ahead.”
