South Colonie families can now stay connected to school transportation with the MyRide K-12 app. See your child’s bus location in real time, receive alerts for delays or schedule changes, and plan your mornings with confidence. All you need to do is download the app, get your child’s student ID from ASPEN under “Local Identifier,” and then use that ID to link them in the app.
The South Colonie Central School District, in partnership with Senator Jake Ashby and GreenSheen Paint, will host a Free Paint Recycling Event on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Colonie Central High School.
Accepted items include latex paint (acrylic), oil-based paint, stains and shellacs, lacquers, sealers, varnishes, urethanes, and textured coatings. Please ensure all materials are in their original containers of 5 gallons or smaller. There is no limit on the amount you can bring, and there is no need to dry out your paint with cat litter. Usable latex paint will be recycled and transformed into new paint, helping reduce waste and support sustainability.
Get your official Colonie Wolf Pack gear and wear your pride loud and proud! From apparel to accessories, our merchandise lets you represent the pack wherever you go.
