Capital District Pop Warner Recognizes South Colonie Little Scholars

The following students were recently recognized as being Little Scholars for Capital District Pop Warner:

Amy Pinkham (Amy has advanced to the next level of recognition which is the national level. She was named an All- American Scholar by National Pop Warner).

Each of these outstanding young people achieved a 96 or above average for the 2008-2009 school year, in addition to extracurricular activities and communities activities they are involved in.

Two of these fine young people were recognized as members of the Eastern Region Scholar team of National Pop Warner. Elizabeth Lambert and Amy Pinkham were 2 of 35 cheerleaders (out of over 50,000 children from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, DC region). This is an incredible honor. Amy and her family would like to thank the dedicated staff of the Comet Team at Sand Creek for helping her to achieve this status. She was incredibly motivated by this particular group of teachers. They deserve recognition for their part in her success, so thank you to Mrs. Vogt, Mrs. Moskov, Mrs. Skanes, Ms. Carr and Ms. Hilton.
