Monday was designated as Spanish Day featuring Chicken Fajitas, Fiesta Corn, Mexican Rice and Churros for dessert.

On the menu Tuesday, Chinese Day, was sweet n sour chicken, vegetable egg rolls and fortune cookies.

Wednesday was French Day, Thursday was German Day and the week concluded with Italian Day.

Students also designed colorful posters promoting a language and country of their choice and placed them on display. Throughout the week, the morning announcements featured Trivia questions in a variety of different languages for students to learn from. This year through the Rotary International Exchange Program, the high school is hosting a student from Germany, 11th grader, Lara Sueltemeyer, who shared her experiences. Colonie Central High School has been fortunate to previously host exchange students from countries such as France, Bolivia, and Poland.
