Veeder Elementary School hosted “Camp Read S’More” Literacy Night for all students and parents. Students were met by rangers and were given a map to camp out at several literacy stations. The stations included fishing for words/concepts, reading under the stars in a tent, enjoying a campfire read-aloud, making marsh mellow words, reader’s theater and much more. It was a great evening to promote literacy with students and families.
