Mr. Sim did an outstanding job remaining calm and effectively communicating with Mr. Link and other bus drivers in the area to address the emergency, transfer and re-route the children, and delivering everyone safely to school. Mr. Link held a calm, cool demeanor throughout the entire emergency.

Colonie Police Leuitenant Henry Rosensweig was at the scene and said that Mr. Link’s actions set the tone for all of the students on the bus, and that he could not have managed the situation any better.
