South Colonie students featured at the 33rd Annual Legislative Exhibit; Student’s art recognized by the NYS Art Teachers Association

We are proud to share that 10 of our students were selected to have their art work shown at the 33rd Annual Legislative Exhibit, presented by the New York State Art Teachers Association. Congratulations to our students Madison Kowalski-Hughes (grade 6), Cydney Demare (grade 6), Ahmed Umair (grade 6), Leila Hall (grade 7), Shaylyn Cook (grade 6), McKenna Coon (grade 6), Aishami Das (grade 7), Huzaifa Kabir (grade 7), Damien Pickreign (grade 10), and Mia McClaine (grade 10) on this accomplishment!

Showcasing the artistic achievements of students grades K-12 from across NYS, this thirty-two year tradition is in partnership with New York State United Teachers, supported by the NYS Legislators and is the flagship event for Youth Art Month.
