The Sand Creek Middle School PTA will host a virtual and a live event for Sand Creek families, where they will participate in hands-on science activities from the comfort of their homes. The event is designed to make science more accessible and less intimidating to students and their families and to inspire interest and support student success in STEM. The event is part of the National PTA’s STEM + Families Science Festivals program and the association’s new PTA Programs at Home models.
The Sand Creek Middle School PTA was selected by National PTA from among PTAs nationwide to receive a $1,000 grant to conduct the event. The grant was made possible by PTA Proud National Sponsor Bayer Fund.

Any student of Sand Creek Middle school may work alone or form a team. Teams may be made up of anyone of any age but there must be a Sand Creek Middle school student on the team.
