Sand Creek Helps Houston Hurricane Victims

Students at Sand Creek Middle School teamed up with the PTA and Sara Bella to raise funds for #HeartsForHouston.

Sand Creek adopted Spring Woods High School in Houston, Texas. Spring Woods was affected by Hurricane Harvey. More than 600 students and 200 staff were displaced by Harvey. They requested Walmart gift cards to help assist those in need.

Students sold hearts and placed the hearts around the cafeteria. $400 was raised and the gift cards were purchased and sent to the school.
