South Colonie students compete in annual MATHCOUNTS competition

On Saturday, Feb 1, eight South Colonie students represented their respective middle schools at the annual MATHCOUNTS competition.  Each year, the Capital District Chapter of the National MATHCOUNTS Foundation hosts a local competition for middle school math students at the GE Global Research Facility in Niskayuna.  For the 34th consecutive year, the chapter competition offered the best and brightest math students from our area the opportunity to put their math skills to the test in a fun and highly competitive academic environment.  This year, more than 100 students from all over the Capital District participated in the event.

Congratulations to the following South Colonie students who participated in this year’s competition!
