Lisha Kill’s Seventh Graders Recognized in End-of-Year Awards Ceremony

Lisha Kill’s seventh graders were recognized by the teachers and staff members who worked with them this year in an awards assembly at the end of June.

Congratulations to all recipients for their hard work, perseverance, and determination!


Turnaround award

Turnaround Award: Teachers selected one student who improved his/her academic performance, effort, behavior, attitude, etc. over the course of the year.

Never Gave up Award

Never Gave Up Award: Teachers selected one student who showed determination and motivation to achieve his/her personal best throughout the year.

iReady Top-Out Award

Above Average in Math Award

90+ Award

90+ Award: These students achieved 90+ averages in their five core subjects each of the first three quarters of the year.

Character Champions

Character Champions: This award was for students who consistently did what was right even when others maybe were not, regardless of who might have been watching. *All seventh grade teachers and staff needed to agree these students deserved this award.
