Crandall Named Interim Sand Creek Associate Principal

The South Colonie Board of Education has appointed David Crandall as the Interim Associate Principal at Sand Creek Middle School for the start of the 2017-18 school year.

Crandall will replace William Boardman who recently accepted the position of Supervisor of Special Programs in the District.

Crandall has 36 years of experience in education, 14 years as a middle school administrator. He retired from the Niskayuna Central School District where he served as the Director of Instructional Technology for five years before his retirement, and Principal at Iroquois Middle School for 14 years. He was also an Assistant Principal at Bethlehem Middle School and taught Social Studies at Niskayuna middle and high schools for 14 years. He earned his NYS Administrative Certification and a Master’s Degree in Special Learning Disorders from the College of St. Rose, and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Siena College.
