The Colonie Central High School Class of 2020 celebrated graduation during 15 individualized ceremonies on Friday, June 26 at the CCHS Campus.

On Friday, June 26 the Colonie Central High School (CCHS) celebrated the Class of 2020 with 15 staggered ceremonies. Each ceremony consisting of 25 graduates and their family members celebrating together, in social-distance fashion.

“It was a truly memorable day,” said Christopher Robilotti, executive principal. “For what we were allowed to do given the guidelines set forth by the state, I really feel that our students had a great day celebrating with their family and friends. The weather could not have been better.”

While Colonie Central High School was unable to hold a traditional commencement ceremony at the SEFCU Arena, some traditions remained including the national anthem, alma mater, a welcome message to students, Hall of Fame Class of 2020 member induction, and of course the awarding of diplomas.

The full-day was live-streamed via the South Colonie YouTube Channel.  View the complete video here.
