On Tuesday, Nov. 14 the South Colonie Board of Education decided to adjust the start times of both board meetings. Effective immediately, all meeting start times will be shifted back by thirty minutes.
“This modification is targeted to align with the scheduling requirements of our Board members,” said Dr. David Perry, Superintendent of Schools. “We anticipate that this adjustment will foster more effective and streamlined discussions during our meetings while being respectful of everyone’s schedules and commitments.”
The updated meeting times are as follows unless otherwise communicated.
Board Meetings: Now begin at 6:30 p.m.

About South Colonie Board of Education Meetings
The nine-member South Colonie Board of Education meetings are held twice each month on Tuesdays, unless otherwise noted. Please see the Board meeting schedule for specific dates. Exceptions may be made to avoid conflicts with religious holy days, state and national conferences, or extended recess periods.
Board of Education meetings begin at 6:30 pm in the Boardroom at the District Office located at 102 Loralee Drive, Albany, New York 12205. Board meetings may be held at alternate times or sites, and may occasionally be rescheduled due to inclement weather. In these cases, advance notice is given on this website. The Board of Education may also hold special meetings as needed.
