Veeder Elementary School Holds First Annual Storybook Parade

There’s no need to travel to New York City for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade because Veeder Elementary School held its own to kickoff the holiday. The Kindergarten classes dressed up and made “floats” of their favorite storybook characters and strutted down the Veeder hallways. Many of the famous characters from Dr. Seuss, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie and The Pigeon book series were in the parade. Pete the Cat and Clifford the Big Red Dog were there too.
