Shaker Road Parents As Reading Partners Reward Events

The Shaker Road Elementary School PTA held two events to reward students for their successful completion of the Parents As Reading Partners campaign. Students and their families achieved the PTA's goal of 75 percent participation. For their efforts, the PTA sponsored a Beyblade tournament and a tea party, which included hat making and other crafts and stories by school librarian, Mrs. Berner. Every child who read and returned their reading log during the four-week campaign also received a new book complements of PTA.
