Sand Creek Grade 7 Meteorites Collect Supplies For Humane Society

The Sand Creek Middle School Grade 7 Meteorites sponsored an animal supply collection this February to help the dogs and cats at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. The students made signs and told people outside of school to come and donate food. The animals need homes to live, but first they needed to be cared for. The team collected dog and cat food, paper towels, cat litter, Wee Wee Pads, dog and cat toys, cat beds, blankets, pooper scoopers and more. The boxes filled the school stage. The students helped load the van when the Humane Society came to collect their goods.
