Forest Park Elementary School Fourth Grade Orchestra Debut Concert

The Forest Park Elementary School fourth grade orchestra gave its debut performance of the 2011-2012 school year in January under the direction of Mr. Lewis. The orchestra performed a variety of classic such as Old MacDonald, Lightly Row, and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. The students demonstrated both styles of playing their string instruments: pizzicato (plucking the strings) and arco (bowing the strings). In addition, each section of the orchestra performed one song showcasing their own instrument’s unique sound. Bravo, Forest Park Orchestra!
