Studios in Drawing and Painting

This photo art gallery is from Colonie Central High School's Studios in Drawing and Painting class taught by Lisa Benanto. Here, students used their skills to create half-face portraits and sliced oranges. This course builds on the skills learned in Foundations in Art. The emphasis is on drawing and painting techniques. Students learn to develop their own style and interests in the artwork they design. The study of different styles of art is explored. Students’ course work leads to the development of a portfolio.
