Crafts - Mixed Media and Fabric and Fibers (Motivational Posters)

In this Crafts - Mixed Media and Fabric and Fibers art class taught by Thomasa Nielsen at Colonie Central High School students painted and lettered Motivational Posters. They first used sponges and watercolors to create a background. Then, choosing from dozens of motivational quotes, students selected quotes and fonts...then typed and printed their quotes. They traced the letters onto their painted poster background and then inked them in (or in the case of a few students with physical disabilities, simply cut and glued their printed quotes to the painted background).
