Crafts - Mixed Media and Fabric and Fibers (Crocheting)

In this Crafts - Mixed Media and Fabric and Fibers art class taught by Thomasa Nielsen at Colonie Central High School students worked on crocheting projects. For most of the students, this was the first time ever crocheting. The yarn for the project was donated by South Colonie residents, mostly as part of cleaning their homes. The students used 2 and 1/2 full garbage bags of yarn when they made their scarves. Several students made afghans instead of scarves.
