Veeder Hosts Amy Tisa Memorial Basketball Game

March 2010

Veeder Elementary School and the Colonie Police Department hosted the third Annual Amy Tisa Memorial Charity Basketball Game in March and raised more than $6,000. More than 500 people filled the stands of the Veeder gym to see the Veeder Owls take on the Colonie Police Globetrotters for a good cause. The money raised this year will benefit the Wilkinson Family. This year the Colonie Police Department won by a score of 48-46.
