Lisha Kill Middle School hosted its annual eighth grade Living Museum of Heroes, Legends and Barrier Breakers this spring. Some 180 eighth grade English students in teachers Laura Yerou and Jessica LaFex's classes researched an historic figure, put together an educational display of their research and dressed like that person when the museum came to life. Some of this year's special guests included Charlie Chaplin, Hillary Clinton, the Williams sisters, Joe Dimaggio, Jane Austen, Diana Ross, Charles Lindbergh, Abe Lincoln, Leonardo da Vinci, Rosa Parks, Bobby Jones and Shirley Temple.
