

Studio in Drawing I and II
These courses explore varied art techniques and materials as students create realistic renderings and increase their powers of observation. They learn how to visually represent actual objects and ideas. These courses cover still life and landscape drawings using lines, shading and degrees of values with pencil, ink and charcoal. Course one is designed to improve basic drawing skills. Course II continues the study of how art principles work to help students create advanced drawings as they explore portraiture, pastels and engage in problem solving using a variety of materials.
