Colonie Central High School graduate, Emily Finnegan, was crowned Albany Tulip Queen Saturday during a coronation ceremony at Washington Park. She replaces another CCHS graduate, Karen Colehour, Class of 2006, who finished her reign the same day as 2011 Albany Tulip Queen. full story

Not Too Late to Get Your Coasters For A Cause Great Escape Tickets

Once again Colonie Central High School Class of 2014 has teamed up with the Great Escape to provide Coasters for a Cause admission tickets at a reduced cost. The cost this year is $22.90. That’s a $27 savings! You can also upgrade your ticket to a season pass for an additional $34.99 + tax or purchase a special C’Mon Back ticket for $20 + tax, at various retail locations throughout the park using your Coasters for a Cause ticket stub. Six Spring Varsity Athletic Teams Earn Scholar Athlete Distinction

Congratulations to six Colonie Central High School spring varsity interscholastic athletic teams which earned Scholar Athlete Team Awards for achieving a team Grade Point Average of 90% or higher. Teams honored were Boys Baseball, Softball, Girls Lacrosse, Boys Tennis, Boys and Girls Track and Field.
