Sand Creek seventh grader, Devin Urbano, is honored for his project on the first automobile. Devin researched and wrote a paper on the topic, then created a technical drawing and car model - a three-wheeled, gasoline-powered vehicle invented in 1885 by Karl Benz. The folks from DePaula Chevrolet were on hand to honor him with prizes.

Summer School Class Information

South Colonie Schools is offering summer school classes for students in grade 7-12, Monday through Friday, July 7 to August 16, and an abbreviated summer school schedule for grades 5-6, Monday through Thursday, July 6 to July 29 and Monday through Friday, August 2-6. Registration was held in June. Special Education classes are held July 6 to August 13 at Forest Park Elementary School. For a summer school brochure, click here (pdf).
