Sand Creek Names 2011-2012 Ironman and Ironwoman Winners
Sand Creek Middle School held its annual Ironman and Ironwoman competition this fall during Physical Education classes for students in Grades 7-8.
The fitness test is an opportunity to evaluate each student's physical fitness level in a number of events . The six events measure muscular strength/endurance, cardio-respiratory endurance, flexibility, agility and speed. For more on the fitness test, click here (pdf). The boy and girl scoring the most overall points on a combination of all the tests are named the Ironman and Ironwoman for the seventh and eighth grade levels.
