Roessleville Students Create Landforms
Students in third grade at Roessleville Elementary School worked very hard this winter studying various landforms, which can be found all over the world.
To help learn this information, students created their very own continents, which were made out of clay. Various landforms were included on the students’ continents, which included peninsulas, harbors, islands, mountains, lakes, rivers, etc.
The students used creative names to identify each of the landforms. Next, students wrote about their continents and went through The Writing Process. Creative titles and catchy leads were used to hook readers.
Families and friends were invited into the classroom to take part in the celebration where students shared all of their new creations. The students did a fantastic job!
