Three Lisha Kill Middle School seventh graders - Lauren Muia, Christina Grady and Jonathon Feliciano - are winners of the 14th annual Limerick Contest at the William K. Sanford Colonie Town Library. Lisha Kill Sponsors Operation Remember Me

Lisha Kill Middle School is participating in Operation Remember Me – a project whereby more than 560 Albany County service men and women, who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country will be honored by American flags being placed on utility poles along Route 9, from the Albany city line to Route 155 in Colonie. Each flag will represent four service members. Lisha Kill staff and Student Council representative raised enough money to sponsor a flag and also donate to the restoration of the Vietnam Memorial in Albany.
