Student Council Food Drive Reaches An All-Time High
Lisha Kill Middle School's annual Student Council Food Drive reached an all-time high this year.
Conducted in November, Lisha Kill students, faculty and staff donated a record number of food items to local food pantries. The grand total was 1,930 canned and packaged items!
The students from Mr. Rouleau’s 7th grade Team Legends homeroom was once again the winner with 721 items donated. They are the recipients of a pizza party and the knowledge that they have continued the 10-year dominance of Mr. Rouleau’s homerooms in this endeavor. Second place belonged to Mrs. Copeland’s 7th grade students with 287 items. In third place with 256 items was Mrs. Cerones’ 6th grade class. Mr. Obermayer’s class rounded out the top four with 130 items!
