Lisha Kill Seventh Graders 'Flying High' on Science
Lisha Kill Middle School hosted a special program in November called “Up Up and Away with a Hot Air Balloon."
The program was the culmination of a science unit where seventh graders learned about density and buoyancy. The school invited the Liberty Balloon company and Captain Carroll Teitsworth to do an assembly. An informative slide show was followed by an indoor inflation and discussion inside the fabric of the ReMAX balloon
As the pictures show, an educationally GREAT time was had by all Lisha Kill 7th graders! Science ROCKS! The program was funded by ReMAX Capital, Latham, and inspired by the Top 13 Teacher Program WNYT.
