The Colonie Central High School PTSA
encourages every student, parent, guardian, grandparent, teacher
and staff member to join us.
Joining the PTSA and becoming a member allows you to have a voice in our school. When you join the PTSA, you are showing your support for the school and you receive voting rights. For a PTSA membership enrollment form, click here (pdf).
Another way that you can be a part of our great team is to volunteer some of your time and talent. We need volunteers for a few school functions, especially the Fall and Spring Craft Fairs. We don’t call you to volunteer just because you are a member of the PTSA, but we hope that if you can spare a little of your time, you will consider helping us with our activities. The more volunteers we have, the less work for everyone.
The PTSA also hosts an informational seminar about financing your child’s college education and a forum for parents and students about prom season. At the end of the school year, we present scholarships to graduating seniors as they move out of CCHS and into a new phase of their lives.
Our meetings are held on the first Monday of each month, and begin at 6:30 p.m. in Room 211 of the high school (meeting dates listed in right column of this page). Please check the Google web calendar on the school homepage for meeting dates/changes and a list of monthly PTSA-sponsored events. We realize that we all have busy lives, and try to keep our meetings to one hour or less.
We hope that you can join us for one or more PTSA meetings. To contact the PTSA by email, click here or write to cchsptsa@gmail.com.
