Pathfinders are guides created by South Colonie librarians intended to help students get started investigating a particular topic. More specifically, Pathfinders are pages that offer students selected resources in a variety of media on a topic they are researching. They provide a head start for students as they begin their research project.

New York State Museum

Located in Albany, this museum displays a mixture of New York based theme art with a natural history feel, as well as contemporary traveling exhibits.

The University Art Museum

The University Art Museum presents six to eight changing exhibitions each year. In addition to exhibiting established artists and the work of emerging artists, the museum develops and presents exhibitions that explore current art practices through the larger frame of cultural, historical, philosophical, and sociopolitical contexts.

Cybrary of the Holocaust

Research is on the top left hand side of the site. It includes: images, education, witnesses, the camps, and books by survivors. Within the site, there are several special exhibits including a virtual tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau.
