Leonard Motto, of 20 Hackett Ave., has served on the school board since 2006. His term expires on June 30, 2012.

He served as Board of Education Vice President during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 school years.

Motto is a lifelong resident of South Colonie and a 1978 graduate of Colonie Central High School. He is employed as Sales Manager for Constructive Copy. As a member of the school board, Motto has served on several committees over the years.

He and his wife Sheryl, also a Colonie Central High School graduate, have two daughters.
