After spending a week studying the science behind apples, first graders in Ms. O’Connor’s class at Veeder Elementary School had a blast taste testing all different types of the fruit. It was a sweet (and crunchy) ending to a wonderful week!

Roessleville Elementary School students compete in a variety of track events this spring at the 7th annual Just Run Track Meet last June. Students who placed in the Top 3 for the races they ran received their medals recently. They are Elizabeth Grim, Zoey Simon, Robbie Frey and Vincent Mastrianni.
The Veeder Elementary School community last spring worked to collect spare change and donated it to “Change for Children” to help school children in Africa and Peru. Veeder students held lemonade stands, scoured parents’ pockets and did odd jobs around their homes while Veeder adults supported the children in these efforts and offered the change …
